Drawing parallel between gender as a performance and performance poetry, I explore the world of the queer community in Singapore through these poets. There are many voices and identity in Singapore itself and they all wish to be heard. By projecting all these poets, I put faces and voices to the queer community. Yet as much as we would like to have one unifying voice, the truth is that there are many, and at times they can be conflicting. As conflicting as our voices can be, we all do and want at least one thing: to be acknowledged that we exist. That we are here.
